Audrey Chan

Children’s Ministry Assistant

Audrey Chan was born in Baltimore, MD and raised in Dallas, TX. She has a BA in biology from Bryn Mawr College and a Masters of Public Health in infectious disease epidemiology from Yale University School of Public Health. Formerly, she has worked in governmental public health as well as non-profits on a range of topics including racial and ethnic community health, national infectious disease policy, and emergency preparedness and pandemic planning.

Audrey is married to Brad Chin, and mother of three children, ranging from middle to primary school.  They moved back to the Arlington area after 10 years in their home state of Texas. While not previously in official staff roles, Audrey has always loved volunteering and building up the community that God places her, like serving on the PTA board as well as on her neighborhood pool board. She has chaired, coordinated, and served in many children events at her previous church and children’s schools in Houston, like VBS, Sunday School, community service days, and personally, she knows first hand how important children’s ministry at church is because she herself came to know Jesus through loving volunteers at her local Chinese bible church, through programs like AWANA, children’s Sunday School, summer VBS, and youth group. Fun fact: Audrey met Brad through the youth ministry in middle school. They ended up serving together as youth counselors at that same church after college.
