Family Ministries
OVERVIEW
Through family ministry, Emmanuel Presbyterian Church is here to love and support our families, as well as extend mercy and grace to families in our community. We desire to partner with parents by equipping and assisting them as they raise their children to know and serve God. Emmanuel strives to share the love and truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with children of all ages in safe and nurturing environments; all caregivers and teachers are screened and background checked. Emmanuel's family ministry focuses on: Building Biblical knowledge by using the Gospel Project curriculum, coupled with Emmanuel's own version of Godly play. Encouraging healthy relationships with teachers, peers, and other families. Providing opportunities for service within our community and to our missionary partners. Currently, in order to follow safety protocols and policies, we are not offering nursery or Children’s Church. We are going through the Gospel Project curriculum virtually. Parents will receive weekly email with a lesson that they can teach their children at home, along with a youtube video of the lesson and activity sheets. There will also be monthly get together, either virtually or in person, to discuss the lesson and to build community. On Sunday mornings, all children are welcome to attend service with their parents, and we will be providing supplies (including Children’s Bulletin, crayons, quiet activity sheets, and fidget toys) for the children to take into service with them.
